Summer’s here, and it’s time to SPLASH! 🌞 The Bronto Brothers love cooling off after band practice, but they always remember their water safety rules when the sun’s hot and the water’s cool.
⚡ Danger Alert:
Axe Raptor brought his electric guitar to the water’s edge at the opening day pool party!
Groovaourus waved him off.
“Watch out! Electricity and water don’t mix!”
She was right. That combo can lead to a big zap. His guitar sizzled “ZZZAP!” and shorted out the snack table. (Goodbye, guacamole. 🥑)
🛑 1. No Electronics Near Water
That means guitars, radios, tablets, and charging cables. Keep the tunes on dry land so no one gets zapped.
🦕 2. Never Swim Alone
Groovaourus says:
“Swimming is more fun with a buddy—and WAY safer!”
Whether diving in or just dipping your toes, always have a grown-up or friend nearby.
🏊♂️ 3. Check the Depth Before Jumping
Thumper once tried to cannonball into a kiddie pool.
“Not my proudest moment,” he grunted.
He was out for weeks! Always check the water’s depth before you jump.
🚫 4. No Running by the Pool
Last summer, T-Rhythm slipped while doing a moonwalk.
“Let’s just say it wasn’t my smoothest move.”
Walk, don’t run. Wet surfaces + fast feet = epic wipeouts.
🛟 5. Learn to Float
Thumper says:
“Floating helps you relax like a laid-back blues riff.”
Practice floating and treading water to stay calm and strong, even when tired.
🚩 6. Watch for Warning Flags at the Beach
Flags talk louder than roars:
🟥 Red: Stay out—danger ahead
🟨 Yellow: Be careful—strong waves or currents
🟩 Green: Go ahead and splash!
Bronto Brothers Tip:
“When flags are flying, keep your eyes spying!”
🎸 Bonus Rule: No Shredding Near the Splash Zone
Electric guitars and pools are a no-no. If you want to rock, do it from a safe (and dry!) stage. Even Axe Raptor agrees . . . now!!
