“One, and two, and three and…”
The band pauses. Thumper gently clears his throat.
“Uh… Rex?”
What follows is a good-natured reminder from the group: maybe the rhythm should be left to the rhythm section.
The strip lands on a shared laugh as the band locks back in together, instruments up, energy restored. A small moment. A big groove.
